My good friend found a species of ants,
I have never seen ants, he was very beautiful, from the subtropical rain forest.
Their workers length 3~3.5 mm
Queen 10 mm long
He lived in in the soil, likes to eat dead insects and nectar.
At least now I do not know his name, if any friends know his name, please tell me, thanks!
Greetings Ting

Hello Ting,

interesting ants. The most important characteristic of these ants is that they don't have spines. For sure, they belong to the subfamily Myrmicinae so I checked some asian myrmicine genus and I'm quite sure this is most probably Katidris sp., there are also some species of this genus described for southern China.

Greetings, Phil

Hallo Ting,

interessante Ameisen.
