Besonderheiten: Diese Ameisen haben eine leichte Behaarung am Gaster die rötlich braun schimmert. Diese Art ist nachtaktiv und wirken am Tage sehr träge.Sie benutzen bei Streß ein schaumartiges Abwehrsekret mit dem sie ihre Feinde verkleben. Sie können nicht an Glas oder glatten Flächen hochlaufen.

They are very big. 15-18mm. Same size as H. venator! I made pictures today.
