So Hi, dear Camerati. This is my first thread on EuSozial and I can't speak german properly (This is the reason why I type on Eng), but I hope you will like it.
CAMPONOTUS XERXES
Story of my colony is very big and starts in Autumn of 2017, when I was a nooby. Then I saw blog by Natalya Serova about Camponotus fellah. From first moment I loved those ants for very beatiful colour combination and forms, so I wanted to purchase them. I startet conversation with one of antclub.org Admins - Valery S.T.E.L.S. (Nowadays we are collegues-editors of Myrmex - ants-related group in VKontakte) After almost 10 months of talking and changes I receive message that 5 of Valery's Camponotus fellah* gynes has sucessfully packed out their first workers. At this moment I was mad about mysterious "Camponotus xerxes" - black giants of Persia. I asked Valery: "And what are other Camponotus species were observed by your supplier in Israel?" He said: "Mostly fellah, but very black. I would said even xerxes" And from this moment xerxes-epopee had started...
And on 11 of October I received package with two colonies of Camponotus xerxes - One for me and another for my comrade.
